In the lab

My main blending station. I keep most of my supplies in a cool dark cabinet, but these are the ones I use most.

I stock professional perfumer aroma chemicals and oils from known and recommended sources, and source locally as much as possible. I use lavender oil from Blanco, TX, California Lemon, and I source aroma chemicals primarily from New Jersey, Connecticut, and California. I don't use "fragrance oils" that include BHT and/or large amounts of other additives.
I also use Organic Cane Sugar Alcohol and, for A Day In The Vineyard, Organic Grape alcohol, instead of the harsher SD-40B alcohol that is typically used.

When blending plant based perfume, it is sometimes neccesary to filter - and double filter - to remove plant residue and provide a clear end product. You may still notice some cloudiness in a plant based blend - but it is normal and doesn't detract from the scent.

As a mom and a Grandma - I realize more than ever the importance of memories, and the power of fragrance to take us back to that special time and place. Every trip we take, every outing we enjoy - I want to bottle them all.
Wishing you all of your Favorite Memories, Bottled.
